The BioWales 2017 Innovation Zone, situated in Ffresh Bar, provided attendees with a chance to interact with some of the innovative work supported by the Life Sciences Bridging Fund and the Life Sciences Research Network Wales. These two funding programmes provided an invaluable source of support to enable academics to develop the full potential of their research, help maximise economic impact and accelerate Life Sciences technologies towards commercialisation.
Attendees visited the Ffresh Bar for:
Drug discovery Platform Technology demonstrations running throughout the day on 7 March
A series of Life Sciences project presentations at lunchtime on 7 March, 12.20-13.30
A “Platform clinic” on 8 March, with informal drop-in meetings with Platform researchers
Delegates will also get a chance to visit some of the SME exhibition stands that are situated in the Innovation Zone.
