By Road 

From the M4 motorway, exit at junction 33 and onto the roundabout, head towards the A4232 following the signs for Cardiff Bay. After approximately ten miles you will reach a roundabout, from which you will need to take the second exit towards Cardiff Bay. At the traffic lights, turn right onto Pierhead Street, then at the next set of traffic lights turn right again into the Cardiff Waterside Multi Storey Car Park

By Train 

It’s just a few hours to Cardiff Bay from Heathrow Airport by train, with Cardiff Bay easily accessible from London, the Midlands, the South West, Manchester, and the North East. There are regular trains into Cardiff Central Station, from there visitors will need to change trains and head just one stop to Cardiff Queen Street Station. Services run every 12 minutes from Cardiff Queen Street Station to Cardiff Bay Station, which is only a short walking distance away from the Wales Millennium Centre. By Bus 

The Baycar (Service No. 6) is the easiest way to get between Cardiff City Centre and Cardiff Bay. Operating seven days a week, every 10 minutes during the day and every 15-20 minutes during evenings and weekends. Bus stops include Kingsway, Westgate Street, St Mary Street, Central Station, County Hall, Wales Millennium Centre, Harbour Drive (nearest stop to the WMC) and BBC Studios. By Plane 

The Wales Millennium Centre is located only 30 minutes’ drive from Cardiff Airport, 45 minutes’ drive from Bristol Airport, and only 2.5 hours’ drive from London Heathrow Airport.

By Foot 

Cardiff Bay Train Station is only a short walking distance away from the Wales Millennium Centre . Exit the station and head southeast on Lloyd George Ave/A470. Turn left and cross over at the first pedestrian crossing, then turn right and continue along Lloyd George Ave.  You will see the Wales Millennium Centre located straight in front of you. 


The Wales Millennium Centre has no car parking on site, however the nearest multi storey car park can be found on Pierhead Street (CF10 4PH), which is only a short walking distance away. Cardiff Waterside Car Park offers secure parking with 1,238 spaces and is open 24 hours a day, as well as being awarded the Park Mark award for safer parking.
